Local Action through the theoretical lens: A journey into Green Deal experiments
SHARED GREEN DEAL is hosting a series of short online coffee talks exploring how community-based social experiments can inform, challenge, and strengthen the implementation of the European Green Deal. Across five thematic sessions, leading researchers will share insights from 24 experiments across Europe, emphasising different perspectives in social sciences and humanities (SSH) priority themes and their relevance for implementing the Green Deal. Each coffee talk, taking place from 10 to 10.30 AM CET on every Thursday in October, is paired with the release of ananalytical report from the researchers, which offers an evidence base for researchers, policymakers, NGOs, practitioners, and communities interested in building a fairer and more inclusive transition.

We are delighted to announce that the CAS One Health programme will officially launch in September 2025. Note that there are still a few places available for certain individual modules.

Transdisciplinary research with and for artificial intelligence
Is artificial intelligence, a technology aggressively advertised as the ultimate cure-all, fundamentally incompatible with transdisciplinarity and its decades-old insight that the “wicked” problems of the real world do not lend themselves to one-dimensional solutions? Should transdisciplinary research outright reject a technology that is already undermining efforts to achieve social and environmental justice? Or can artificial intelligence actually support transdisciplinary research when used responsibly?
